Are You Addicted To Technology? Panicky Symptoms

We live in a time where any and almost all information is at our finger tips. Need to know an answer quick? Within seconds you can figure it out. Because of technology, most printed media is outdated by the time it reaches people doors. Technology certainly makes this world a different one.

As great as technology can be in assisting us with getting information, helping us make decisions, and entertaining us, it can also be a huge problem. That's why we are helping our readers evaluate if they are addicted to technology.

You might be addicted to technology if you feel panicky if you don't have your phone, i-pad, computer, etc. with you. Often times people who struggle with this addiction are anxious when their devices have been forgotten or lost. People rely so much on technology that they feel like a part of them is missing if they don't have it.

This anxiety can be a distraction that cheapens people's experiences, causes relationships to suffer, and makes a person's dependency on technology worse. The addiction cycle can strengthen when people feel relief from the anxiety once they receive their technology "fix".

Think about how much your emotions swing from being connected or separated from technology. If you notice a strong emotional reaction, you might be a technology addict.
