Aaahhh! Nothing like a deep breath to calm yourself down! Are you finding some ways to relax, decompress, or ward off stress? We hope so. Here are a few more ideas to reduce stress.
-Find a hobby and lose yourself in it
-Accept your imperfections
-Accept other's imperfections
-Don't put unrealistic demands on your time
-Get plenty of rest
-Make sleep a priority
-Allow time to play
-Write things down to free the clutter in your mind
-Whistle when doing housework (or sing)
-Play with a child or pet
-Watch a movie that makes you laugh
-Quit trying to change or fix people
When all of the above fail, breathe and say the serenity prayer again!
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things that I can, and the wisdom to know the difference!
