The Imagine Hope Experience part 2

Yesterday, Natalie discussed how important it is for Imagine Hope to provide our clients a great experience from start to finish when they come for counseling.  One huge part of a good experience in therapy is knowing that your therapist and the practice you choose is dedicated to good, high-quality customer service. When we first formed Imagine Hope, we chose our office for many reasons. The location is convenient to our clients, who all have busy schedules.  I remember walking in the front doors of the office building for the first time, seeing the beautiful, sunlight filled staircase and water fountains (with proceeds of the "wishes" donated to the Susan Koman foundation), and the spacious and light filled offices-- realizing that this is a wonderful place for people to start their journey of healing.  We have made it a priority to provide our clients with a relaxing, beautiful, peaceful and private area in both our waiting rooms, as well as our offices (it feels like home to us as well!).  Our clients journeys begin the minute they call us on the phone (and reach a therapist directly), and extends from that time through each visit, whether it's specialty teas and coffee in the waiting room, or enjoying our client resources (in comfort) while they wait for their appointment time.

In addition, we have made it a priority to provide not only our clients, but the community and our readers, the tools necessary to begin the healing process.  Imagine Hope provides a weekly group blog with various topics we frequently see a need for, as well as each therapist having an individual blog that helps you get to know each of us better-- as therapists and human beings.  We understand how difficult it is to make a decision entrusting your healing and care to someone you don't know, and strive to make our individual blogs well representative of our individual personalities to ensure a good fit for each of our clients. We are committed to writing articles that help educate the people who visit our website, and provide these to other health care providers in the community for their patients.  Our focus on community service also includes frequent appearances and contributions free of charge to local television programs, local newspapers, magazines and radio appearances speaking on various topics to help educate the public.  Shortly after forming our practice, we also made it a goal to provide free seminars to the community, corporations, small businesses, and churches on topics that impact individuals and families every day.  We understand that sometimes people just need more information, even if they aren't ready to begin therapy, and one of our goals is to be a resource to the people who visit our website.  All of these things have such a great impact on the entire Imagine Hope experience!
