There are SO many self-help and personal growth books out there lately, it can be overwhelming and sometimes conflicting to find one giving sound advice that really works. Do you find yourself stuck in cycles of the same relationship issues over and over, sometimes with a different person each time? "How We Love" by Milan and Kay Yerkovich is one of the rare books out there where you find yourself connecting to the material and able to utilize the information they present. All relationships bring two different histories and ways of relating into the mix, and frequently that is the source of much conflict. "How We Love" helps the reader identify their "Love Style"- How they interact in communication and conflict, based on their family of origin and past experiences: The Avoider, The Controller/Victim, The Vascillator, and The Pleaser. This book helps to identify patterns in relationships, as well as helping to understand yourself and your partner better. Highly recommended as a tool for further self-discovery and growth for anyone working on becoming a more whole and healthy person! Definitely one of my favorites for 2010!
