As we discuss Extroverts this week, you may find in comparison to last week's discussion on Introverts, you relate to a little of both. Depending on your environment (work verses personal life) you may lean more toward one way, yet another way when in different circumstances.
Today we're looking at the personality traits of Extroverts:
Energizes by being in Social Settings
This is one of the most common known traits of Extroverts. When faced with a choice, Extroverts would rather be around others than be alone. Being in social settings gives them a boost of energy, revitalizing and refreshing them.
Extroverts love to talk. If they see someone alone at a party (sorry Introverts!) they'll walk up to that person and try to make them feel included....and it's done out of a compassionate and caring nature. If Extroverts have a problem that needs to be solved, they feel more at ease discussing it with a trusted friend or family member rather than trying to figure it out on their own. Talking to others and discussion is a key trait of an Extrovert.
Because of the talkative nature of Extroverts, it's easy to get to know them well. They share information about themselves easily which makes the conversation feel relaxed and flowing. Because they are approachable in relationships, they tend to make friends easily.
Thank you for reading. Please check back in as we discuss the thinking processes, social interactions and self-care for Extroverts!
